It is intended for use by the general public, particularly Australian residents, and is not a substitute for clinical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment.2. Not a Diagnostic ToolThis tool is not intended to provide a diagnosis or replace a consultation with a qualified health professional. While it may screen for indicators commonly associated with mental health conditions, it cannot and does not provide a clinical or medical diagnosis.If you are experiencing distress or have concerns about your mental health, you should consult a General Practitioner (GP), psychologist, or another qualified health professional.3. Data Privacy and AnonymityThis tool is designed to be anonymous by default. You are not required to enter any identifying information unless you explicitly opt in to receive your results via email or access follow-up resources.Data collected during your use of the tool:• Is anonymised and used in aggregated form for service improvement.• Will not be linked to your identity unless you provide personal information voluntarily.• Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more detailed information on how your data is handled.4. Voluntary ParticipationUse of the Mental Pitstop tool is entirely voluntary.
You may choose to:• Start or stop the screener at any time• Skip any questions you do not wish to answer• Exit the tool without completing it or submitting any information• There is no obligation to begin or finish the screening process.5. Geographic ScopeThis tool is intended for Australian residents.Some questions and recommended services are tailored to the Australian healthcare context.If you are accessing the tool from outside Australia, the relevance and applicability of the information may be limited.6.
